How to use RingRing for J2ME

RingRing for 3410

Use this version if you have Nokia 3410. RingRing uses the Nokia SMS API.

There are 2 ways to install RingRing for 3410.

Local Deployment
You need to download these 2 files here by right-clicking and choosing "Save Target As":
RingRingNokia.jad and RingRingNokia.jar.
If your browser changes the extension of the files when you try to save, you need to save the files using the filenames shown above. After saving these 2 files, you can deploy RingRing to your mobile phone using your usual local deployment method.
Over-The-Air (OTA)
RingRing can be downloaded using OTA from 2 sites: Handango and MidletCentral.
- Get it from Handango. Search for RingRing in the J2ME section. Or you can access the Handango WML page here.
- Get it from http://www.midletcentral.com. Search for RingRing.

RingRing for WMA

Use this version if you have Nokia 3650 or any other phones that support the Wireless Messaging API (WMA). RingRing uses the WMA to send the ringtone SMS to the mobile phone.

There are 2 ways to install RingRing for WMA.

Local Deployment
You need to download these 2 files here by right-clicking and choosing "Save Target As":
RingRingWMA.jad and RingRingWMA.jar.
If your browser changes the extension of the files when you try to save, you need to save the files using the filenames shown above. After saving these 2 files, you can deploy RingRing to your mobile phone using your usual local deployment method.

RingRing can be downloaded using OTA from 2 sites: Handango and MidletCentral.

How to use RingRing for J2ME

Get a RTTTL ringtone.
Input the RTTTL into the textbox.
Select "Play" to preview the ringtone.
Select "Send" and then enter the phone number to receive this Ringtone SMS. The phone number can be an international or local phone number. Enter the number as if you are sending a normal SMS.
